Welcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate at the Utrecht School of Economics, supervised by Coen Teulings and Bas van Bavel. 

I study the dynamics of wealth concentration. My main research fields are Macroeconomics and Finance; I also have interests in Public Finance and Economic History. I am a fellow of the World Inequality Database. In spring 2023, I visited the London School of Economics's Centre for Macroeconomics, hosted by Maarten de Ridder. 

I am on the 2024/2025 academic job market. In my job market paper, I develop an econometric method to estimate private business wealth, a key variable for aggregate firm dynamics and the wealth distribution. I find large upward adjustments in both aggregate firm value and top wealth shares, and a steeper gradient in returns to wealth than in the raw data.
